The Los Angeles Dodgers play at Dodger Stadium at Chavez Ravine.  They along with the Giants made the move from New York to California in 1958, ushering in West Coast major league baseball and continuing an intense rivalry that exists to this day.  The hallmark of Dodger baseball revolves around strong pitching, as evidenced through the years in such stalwarts as Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, Don Sutton, Fernando Valenzuela and Orel Hershiser.  The Dodgers produced 9 Rookies of the Year in an 18 year stretch from 1979-96.
