The Cleveland Indians have not won a World Series since 1948, the longest current drought of any American League team, and the second longest in all of the major leagues (after the Chicago Cubs). They went the first 25 years of divisional play since it began in 1969 finishing no better than 4th place in their division. They followed this up with 8 straight 1st or 2nd place finishes. The Indians currently play at Jacobs Field.
